MOOSMOOS
For interior landscapers, service providers and specialist retailers

The modern indoor gardener: A range that turns green even where nothing can grow.

Your living greenery remains what it is: your core business. Preserved moss comes into its own — for those enquiries you have to turn down today because of a lack of light, water or the necessary technology. In this way, a refusal turns into an order, without a single maintenance contract being added.

From day-to-day operations

Three sentences that you have known for a long time

1

"We won’t be able to turn this area green."

No natural light, no water supply, an existing building with no technical installations — or a ceiling six metres high. These enquiries are not turned down because of the budget, but because of the conditions of the space. And they are rejected.

2

"Who’s doing the maintenance round?"

Care contracts tie up staff, and there is a shortage of skilled workers. Every additional route generates revenue, but at the same time takes up capacity — precisely the capacity that is lacking for new projects.

3

"What if the pump breaks down?"

Irrigation, technology and replanting are all part of the living system — and therefore also form part of the risk of complaints. In areas that are difficult to access, every intervention counts double.

A rejection turns into a commission

Without light, without water, without technology — where nothing can survive.

Preserved moss requires no daylight, no water supply and no technical equipment. This means you can plan to use precisely those spaces that you currently leave unused: windowless corridors, existing buildings without water connections, ceilings and high-ceilinged areas. The following illustrates the types of structures available for this purpose: Interior Collection; where the boundaries between the living and the preserved lie, the Comparison Guide side by side.

Revenue that doesn’t require any maintenance

No water, no electricity, no pruning — and no technology that could break down.

No water, no electricity, no pruning: for your customers, this means a one-off investment that can be planned for, rather than ongoing running costs — for you, it’s a project that’s completed once it’s installed and doesn’t tie up any capacity in your maintenance planning. What your customers should still be aware of is set out in the Care Guide. And where the room is too noisy, the same surface offers a second advantage: up to 60% sound absorption in accordance with DIN EN ISO 354 — as detailed in the Acoustics Collection.

The collaboration

What we bring with us — and what is clarified during the conversation

We do not publish any discount tiers or minimum order quantities. What a partnership looks like depends on what you stock and who you’re planning for — we’d prefer to discuss this in person rather than via a table.

You’ll receive the documents you need for your own planning straight away: the Planner data package is sent in a single email. If you’ve already got a specific property in mind, please take the Project enquiry — there’s the tab ‘I have a specific project’, so that the scope, deadline and details go straight to the right contact person.

Terms and conditions

We’ll discuss what’s possible for your business in a face-to-face meeting — tailored to your product range and your projects. We have deliberately chosen not to have standard price brackets.

Sample Service

You can’t judge materials just by looking at a screen. The Sample box brings different types of moss and colour shades to your desk — and from there into your discussions with customers.

Frequently asked questions from specialist retailers

Is preserved moss replacing our living ecosystems?

No — it complements them. Living greenery remains the better option where growth and plant diversity are desired. Preserved moss takes over the areas where living plants cannot thrive: without daylight, without a water supply, on ceilings and at great heights. The differences are set out by the Comparison Guide side by side.

What sort of maintenance is required for the interior products?

None: no water, no electricity, no pruning — and no equipment that needs maintaining. You can find out what your customers should still bear in mind in the Care Guide.

What can we tell our customers about shelf life?

There is a lifetime guarantee on the moss used in our indoor products. As neither a pump, an irrigation system nor replanting is involved, the cost of the guarantee remains predictable for you.

Does moss help with acoustic issues inside a building?

Yes, and it’s quantifiable: up to 60% sound absorption in accordance with DIN EN ISO 354. The table below shows which types of construction are suitable for this — walls, panels, room dividers, ceilings — Acoustics Collection.

Can we offer custom shapes and customer logos?

Yes. Every piece is handcrafted in Oppach in Oberlausitz — special shapes, lettering and Logos made from moss are part of everyday life at the manufactory.

How does the partnership work for resellers?

During a face-to-face meeting. We will discuss terms and conditions, the sample service, and catalogue and data materials, tailored to your product range. Please select in the Room Compass “I am a reseller / tradesperson” — in which case the relevant contact person will get in touch.

Is funding available for larger projects?

Yes, leasing for business customers. This turns the investment into a monthly item in the operating budget.

The space you are cancelling today. Got a job tomorrow?

Please let us know in Room Compass that you are a reseller — we will then discuss terms and conditions, the sample service and data materials with the relevant contact person. On working days, we will get back to you within 24 hours.
