MOOSMOOS
Sport & Charity

Sporty. Sustainable. Impressive.

A manufactory that has risen to world-class status from a valley in Oberlausitz knows what young talents need on this journey: not applause, but support. That is why MOOSMOOS supports athletes and clubs — from the region, out of conviction, and beyond individual seasons.

Our stance

Three reasons why a moss workshop Sport promotes

1

Because we’re from here

The manufactory is in Oppach, the sports hall in Cunewalde, and the ski jump in Sohland — all in the same valley. Those who manufacture here support the local area: for us, this isn’t a marketing decision, but a matter of community.

2

Because we went to the same school

Years of discipline until a single movement is perfected. Precision in the details, even when no one is watching. The determination to achieve world-class standards from a small town — craftsmanship and competitive sport are closer than you might think.

3

Because talent needs support

Between youth training and the World Cup lie years when nobody is watching. That is exactly where we step in — providing reliable, long-term support without expecting a podium finish every season.

And what does that have to do with moss? To be honest: less than an advertising agency would claim. No moss picture will make a jump any longer or a run any faster. But recovery is part of every training plan — and a little piece of tranquil nature in your retreat is the best gift we can give ourselves.

Anne Häckel — ski jumper on the MOOSMOOS Sports Team
MOOSMOOS Sports I

Anne Häckel

Ski jumping

Ski jumping begins where most people would stop: at the top of the take-off ramp, alone with the decision to let yourself fall. Anne Häckel is the youngest member of our sports team — an athlete who summons this courage anew week after week. We’re following her on her long journey through the junior squad: with equipment, support and the certainty that someone believes in her, even if she doesn’t land a jump perfectly for once.

Arne Hohlfeld — Nordic combined, Sohland Ski Club
MOOSMOOS Sports II

Arne Hohlfeld

Nordic combined · Sohland Ski Club

MOOSMOOS has been associated with the Sohland Ski Club for over 20 years — Arne has literally grown up as part of this partnership: his parents have been coaching the club’s young athletes for around 30 years, and he himself first stood on the ski jump as a child. Today, in the Nordic combined, he combines the art of flight with endurance — and kicked off the 2025/26 season with a victory at the German Cup in Oberstdorf. For us, Arne is not just a brand ambassador, but living proof of what perseverance can achieve.

Elisabeth Kappaurer — Alpine skiing, giant slalom

Elisabeth Kappaurer

Alpine Skiing · ÖSV

2014 Junior World Champion, 2023 European Championship silver medallist in giant slalom, World Cup skier for the Austrian Ski Federation — and a comeback from injury that says more about her character than any victory. Elisabeth has been part of the MOOSMOOS family since November 2023; she retired from competitive skiing in 2025. Our partnership does not end there: anyone who has lived by the motto ‘Dare to make the impossible happen’ remains part of this family — both on the slopes and beyond.

Roberts Naudins — up-and-coming ice hockey talent, HCT Young Lions
MOOSMOOS Sports IV

Roberts Naudins

Ice hockey · U17 TOP League, HCT Young Lions

Born in 2008, raised in the far north of Europe, now playing in the Swiss U17 TOP League: Roberts is at the start of a journey whose outcome no one knows — and that is precisely why we are supporting him now. The partnership grew out of a long-standing business relationship and a friendship that has developed over the years in Switzerland; it will accompany a young player through the years in which talent matures into character.

HVO Oberlausitz Cunewalde — handball club, sponsored by MOOSMOOS
Charity

HVO Oberlausitz, Cunewalde

Handball · Youth development in the region

Just a few kilometres from the manufactory, HVO Oberlausitz Cunewalde coaches children and young people from the valley — instilling values of fairness, team spirit and respect. Clubs like these are the lifeblood of the local community, long before anyone talks of success. That is why our commitment here is the most natural of all: it is not about a name, but about the community from which we ourselves come.
