Wall greenery: Green walls made from 100% real moss — 0% maintenance.
What does the most important wall in your home say about you? A green wall speaks volumes before you’ve even had to say a word — whether it’s a Moss wall or a flower wall, always made from real, preserved plants. And it makes your rooms noticeably quieter in the process.
Before you start thinking about wall design, it’s worth considering what your rooms need to achieve today: a focus on work despite background noise, a reception area that makes a good impression in a matter of seconds, and an atmosphere where people enjoy spending time. Colour and art prints do not address any of these issues. A wall of moss answers all three.
What sets MOOSMOOS’s wall greenery apart
Wall greenery by MOOSMOOS is a green wall made of 100% genuine, preserved plants — either as a simple Moss wall or as a floral wall featuring preserved flowers and jungle plants. Thanks to the gentle preservation process and our Druckpräparation+ technology The material retains its natural colour, depth and texture for many years — without water, without light and without any upkeep. Unlike a living Plant wall, it requires no irrigation system, no electricity supply and no maintenance contracts.
Every moss wall is created as Handcrafted to measure at our manufactory in Oppach in Oberlausitz — from a single wall panel in your living room to a floor-to-ceiling installation in a corporate reception area. The types of moss, relief depth, framing and format are tailored to your space, not the other way round.
For environmentally conscious choices: Our moss products carry the Blue Angel, and as a manufactory, we have been producing exclusively in Germany since 1998 — with over 25,000 projects completed since 2016, ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to the Principality of Monaco.
As well as its stunning, eye-catching appearance: Druckpräparation+ consists of 100% natural materials — and retains 100% of the moss’s properties. It absorbs moisture from the air and releases it back into the room, up to 60% sound-absorbing effect. We are proud of the more than 25,000 projects we have completed — and of the fact that, even after ten years, everything still looks and works perfectly.

Every original piece bears the MOOSMOOS hallmark. It stands for craftsmanship from Oppach, the Druckpräparation+ and the lifetime guarantee — just like the hallmark on silver. A moss wall without this emblem is not a MOOSMOOS.

The moss wall
The serene response — space, depth and silence.
The moss wall is the classic form of wall greenery: expansive, sculptural, and composed of up to five types of moss. It adds character to reception areas, creates a calming atmosphere in open-plan offices and, with over 25,000 completed projects, is the centrepiece of our manufactory — from individual wall panels to floor-to-ceiling installations.
The Flower Wall
The blossoming answer — colour that never fades.
The flower wall combines preserved moss with real, stabilised flowers and jungle plants to create a wall that is permanently in full bloom — no watering, no wilting, no replacing. An eye-catching feature for the hospitality industry, the retail sector and any space where photographs are taken.
The Jungle Wall
The wild answer — a primeval forest that never grows out of control.
The jungle wall mimics a wild jungle: Against a base of Iceland moss, ball moss and forest moss, ferns, grasses, eucalyptus, cleavers, cyperus and foxtail grass grow into the room — accents of bark, branches and stones transform it into a lush forest floor on the wall. Every glance feels like a walk in nature; particularly striking when combined with an indirectly illuminated logo made of moss.
The most beautiful wall in the room is also its best sound absorber.
The open-pored structure of the moss absorbs sound naturally — without the need for any technology. That is why Moss walls are found in places where concentration and conversation are key: in open-plan offices, in meeting rooms and in hotel lobbies.

Pole Moss & Bun Moss — the sculpture
Soft, sculpted panelling with considerable depth. The first choice when you want the wall to appear as a three-dimensional object — and the most effective natural sound absorber in the range.

Islandmoos — the colour
Finely textured and available in a wide range of colours. Ideal for logos, gradients and large, calm images with a uniform texture.

Flat moss — the area
The wooded, natural-looking plain. Ideal as a base for moss mix compositions or as a minimalist, solid surface with the character of a forest floor.

Moss mix — the landscape
The crowning achievement of the manufactory: various types of moss, ferns and preserved plants arranged to form a relief-like landscape — each wall is unique.
What is wall greenery? is worth
The value drivers
Four factors determine the scope: the surface area, the chosen types of moss and plants, the depth of the composition, and the on-site installation conditions. Bespoke wall greenery from our manufactory typically starts at around €3,000 — it is your space that sets the upper limit, not a catalogue.
In return, you avoid the ongoing costs associated with living greenery: no water, no electricity, no maintenance contract, no replacement. Wall greenery from MOOSMOOS is a one-off investment with a lifetime guarantee.
Or as monthly instalments — leasing for business customers
Many of our business customers opt for leasing: Wall greenery transforms from a capital expenditure project into a predictable, fixed item in the monthly budget — keeping cash flow within the company. During a personalised consultation, we’ll clearly work out for you whether leasing makes sense for your project and what the monthly instalments would be.
All figures provided are for guidance only; leasing terms apply exclusively to business customers and are presented as illustrative examples based on your specific project. You will receive your binding figures during a personal consultation.
A moss wall, a living wall or artificial moss?
Preserved moss by MOOSMOOS
100% natural, zero maintenance. Thanks to our deep-dyeing process, the moss is dyed right through rather than just treated on the surface — it stays green for life, whereas surface-dyed products turn grey over the years. No light, no water, no technology, lifetime guarantee.
Living plant wall
Fascinatingly vibrant — yet a technical system: watering, lighting, electricity supply, a maintenance contract and the replacement of dead plants are all an integral part of it. The right choice if a team of gardeners is part of the concept; the wrong one if a quiet, unhurried operation is what matters.
Artificial moss & artificial plants
Maintenance-free, but made of plastic: lacking the texture, depth and acoustic qualities of real materials — and with no track record of sustainability. If you promise nature, you should be able to feel it too.

Frequently asked questions for wall greenery
How much looking after does a Moss wall need?
None. The moss is preserved and enhanced using Druckpräparation+ technology. A moss wall from MOOSMOOS requires neither water, light nor fertiliser — it remains as vibrant as it was on the day it was installed for years to come. The reason for this is explained by the Care Guide.
Is that moss real?
Yes, 100 per cent. We use only genuine, gently preserved moss — no plastic, no imitations. Every wall is handcrafted at our manufactory in Oppach, Oberlausitz.
To what extent does a Moss wall improve the room acoustics?
Up to 60 per cent reduction in disruptive noise — without the need for technology or electricity. The open-pored structure of the moss absorbs sound naturally; that is why companies such as SAP and Google specifically use Moss walls in open-plan offices and meeting rooms.
How long does a Moss wall last?
Many years, provided it is used normally indoors. A preserved Moss wall retains its colour and texture; it does not age in the same way as a living Plant wall, as no biological maintenance cycle is required.
How much does a Moss wall cost?
From around €3,000 for a bespoke design. The scope is determined by the surface area, types of moss, relief depth and installation requirements — in return, there are no ongoing costs for water, electricity, maintenance or replacement. Business customers can opt for a lease instead; you will receive a detailed quote during a personal consultation.
How do you install a Moss wall?
Usually completed in a single day and with no mess. The components are prefabricated at our manufactory and assembled on support panels on site; on request, our team can handle the entire installation process, both throughout Germany and internationally.
What is the difference between a Moss wall, a flower wall and a jungle wall?
All three are maintenance-free wall greens made from real, preserved plants. The moss wall is an expansive, tranquil design comprising up to five types of moss; the flower wall combines preserved moss with stabilised flowers and jungle plants — a wall that remains in full bloom permanently, without the need for watering and without wilting.
