In the Sustainability+ Line, Iceland moss flakes in various sizes and shades (small, large, dark, light) are used and processed with a greater distance between them. In the Premium Line, on the other hand, only the best flakes are used, which are glued together with a small distance between them. Both lines use the same dyeing process with printing preparation+ and offer a 10-year guarantee.
In the Sustainability+ Line, the bun moss is painted as is customary in the market. However, we use our lightfast, cosmetic colors for this. In the MOOSMOOS Premium Line, we use our printing preparation process+, which dyes the moss and preserves the property of regulating air humidity – a function that is lost during painting.

In the Premium Line, on the other hand, more jungle plants and mosses are used, which are glued tightly together with a small distance between them. Both lines offer a color and freshness guarantee of up to 10 years on all mosses.

The mosses are processed as they occur in nature, so that the overall picture corresponds 100% to the natural appearance. Since 1998, we have been leaders in dry floristry and have specialized in indoor and outdoor greening. Originally, our mosses were used in arrangements, bundles, and as Christmas decorations, but challenges quickly arose: The mosses dried out, lost their color, and disintegrated. To solve these problems, we began experimenting with preservation and dyeing and developed a unique Pressure Preservation Process Plus. This clearly distinguishes our moss walls, moss pictures, and moss carpets from the products of our competitors. Our first smaller moss pictures were created with a simple glue gun and a lot of creativity. Soon, small pictures became larger works of art, and we recognized the potential of moss as a versatile design element.
Why not cover entire moss walls, furniture, or panels with moss? Moss surfaces are not only visually appealing but also offer additional benefits for the indoor climate. Thus, a distinct area of interior design gradually emerged, and the MOOSMOOS Manufactory was born.
